Cancellation Policy

The full and binding version of our cancellation policy is part of our Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy, which you accept on the booking form before submitting your reservation. The summary below shows what applies per vehicle class.

Vehicle classes & cancellation rules

AMS Holland operates five vehicle classes. The cancellation period and waiting fee depend on the class. Please check which class applies to your booking.

Key rule. Reservations cancelled within the cancellation period for that vehicle class are non-refundable. Waiting fees apply after the grace period at pickup (see below) and are calculated from the original scheduled pickup time.

Grace periods at pickup

  • Airport pickups (all vehicle classes) — 60-minute grace period from the flight's arrival at the gate. If no contact is made within 60 minutes, the ride is treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.
  • Point-to-point and station pickups (all vehicle classes) — 15-minute grace period from the scheduled pickup time.

After the grace period has expired, the waiting fee for your vehicle class (see table above) applies, calculated from the original scheduled pickup time. For point-to-point rides, any waiting time is paid to the driver directly at the time of service.

Tours — special refund schedule

For tours operated with an Executive sedan or LimoVan (24-hour cancellation class):

  • 24 hours or more before pickup: full refund.
  • 12 to 4 hours before pickup: 50% refund (50% charge).
  • Less than 4 hours before pickup: no refund.

For tours operated with a Limousine, Sprinter or Coach (7-day cancellation class), the standard 7-day cancellation rule applies. Leaving the pickup location without notifying us is treated as a no-show and is fully chargeable.

Rebookings & changes

  • Minor adjustments — such as a pickup-time shift within the same day, an additional stop within the original route, or a change of drop-off within the same area — may be accommodated at our discretion, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
  • Substantive changes — such as a different date, a significantly different route, or a change of vehicle class — are treated as a new booking. The original booking remains subject to the cancellation rules above.

Bookings via a hotel or other accommodation

Cancelling your hotel reservation does not automatically cancel your transfer. The passenger must inform AMS Holland directly. Without timely notice to us, the standard cancellation rules above apply and the transfer remains chargeable.
